From March 8th – 10th, the Pacific Dental Conference 2012 will be held at the Vancouver Convention Centre. This is the largest dental convention in North America. The schedule is full, from hundreds of exhibits to many hours of continuing education. Dr. Terry Bianco, Certified Specialist in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, will be one of the speakers in the continuing education program. His lecture is entitled, “To Bite, Or Not To Bite”. Orthodontic treatment should not only be about creating a great smile. What is important is that the patient’s bite is correct, as without this focus, the patient will not be able to enjoy the long term benefits of an excellent treatment result. To achieve the best result for the patient, the importance of family dentists and other specialty fields working in unison, will also be explored.
