The First Step to A Beautiful Smile – Your Orthodontic Consultation
On your first visit to our orthodontic office, you'll have the opportunity to familiarize yourself with our friendly staff, our office, and the orthodontic treatment process. For your comfort, disposable toothbrushes, toothpaste and floss are provided for you in our brushing area for use prior to any appointment.
Your initial orthodontic exam with Dr. Bianco will include:
- A review of your dental and medical history.
- A complete oral examination, including x-rays if needed.
- Determination of treatment needs and when it is appropriate to proceed
- Development of a customized treatment plan and fees.
- Full explanation of your treatment needs, and answers to any questions you may have.
Our team will assist you in claiming your insurance benefits, and discuss individualized payment plan options.
The Second Step – Your Orthodontic Records Appointment
Your next visit to our orthodontic office will be your records appointment. One of our experienced team members will work with you to gently and skillfully take photos, x-rays and impressions. We use these impressions to make dental models in our "in-house" lab. The models are then mounted on special equipment, to provide more detailed information for your orthodontic treatment. These records will be analyzed by Dr. Bianco and used in future visits.
The Third Step – A Review Of Your Individual Treatment Plan
After your initial orthodontic exam and records appointment, a treatment consultation is scheduled to fully discuss your individual needs, share the information gathered, and answer any questions you may have. Then you're on your way to your new smile!
Scheduling Appointments
During treatment programs, your orthodontic appointments are scheduled approximately every four to eight weeks. Adjustments generally take 20-40 minutes.
Ready to schedule your appointments? Stop by the front desk prior to leaving our office and set up a mutually convenient time. If needed, we can issue work or school appointment cards.

Orthodontic Treatment and Your Family Dentist
If you're receiving orthodontic treatment with Dr. Bianco, don't forget that regular six-month check-ups with your family dentist are very important. If you require additional dental care after your teeth cleaning and routine checkup, we are happy to co-ordinate with your family dentist to make sure you are receiving the best care possible.
