What are your hours?
Our orthodontic office is open to serve patients in Vancouver, Port Coquitlam, Coquitlam, Port Moody, Pitt Meadows, Maple Ridge and surrounding areas from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday.

Why should I choose an orthodontic treatment specialist?
Just as there are specialists in other areas of medicine, such as cardiologists, internists, dermatologists, etc., there are also specialists in areas of dental health. Certified Specialists in Orthodontics dedicate their lives to correcting misaligned teeth and jaws. Teeth, jaws and sometimes faces are permanently changed by orthodontic treatment; so it makes sense to get this important treatment done properly the first time. Remember, most dental health insurance plans that will cover some of the cost for orthodontics, pay only once in a lifetime.

When should I bring my child in for an orthodontic screening?
Anytime you have a concern, even at an early age, such as help with a thumb sucking habit, problems with chewing, speaking or breathing, or congenital issues. A child should be screened by age seven, as recommended by the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO).

Why not wait until permanent teeth are in?
Early screening allows the specialist to plan the best time to start any necessary dental health treatment. Sometimes early treatment can eliminate the need for more drastic measures later. In some cases it is best not to wait until the face and jaws have finished growing.

Can I come in for a second opinion?
Yes, if you would like a second opinion, we are happy to see you.

Can you be too old for braces or clear aligner therapy?
No, people can have the treatment they have always wanted, at any age, if the bone and gum tissue is healthy around their teeth.

What about fees?
Fees for an initial consultation are minimal. Fees for treatment depend on many factors, including how severe the problem is, how complex the treatment is, and how long the treatment lasts. We have a variety of financial arrangements available to suit your needs, and we're here to help with any insurance claims.

Do you give Airmiles?
No, unfortunately, due to regulatory changes for dentists in BC, we are no longer permitted to award Air Miles or other reward programs.

"I am 37 years old and Dr. B was my orthodontist at the age of 11 and my smile today is still picture perfect. Dr. B and staff are still fantastic and I remember walking through the doors for my appointments and now I walk through the doors with my daughter for the past 20 months and it is still that fantastic feeling of warm hearted, caring people."

- Angela K.

"The first time I had braces top and bottom. Recently, I decided to have the bottom front straightened again as I really hadn't followed instructions properly, regarding wearing my retainer at the end of treatment. This only took about eight months and now I'm wearing a retainer for about four months.
PS. May I mention I am 84 years old. You are never too old!"

- Eleanor S.

"The technicians are excellent at what they do, and Dr. Bianco is the total perfectionist! And there is always a happy receptionist when you first go through the doors at every appointment. Dr. Bianco's experience and expertise can truly be seen in my daughter's smile."
